The Ultimate Guide to Nutrition

Have you heard the news?! Last week, just in time for a new year with its new goals, doTERRA released a their Nutrition line. Now, I know that 2020 has been rough for many; my family and yours have gone through ups and downs that perhaps the last thing on our minds is revamping our nutrition. However, if you’ve been following me for some time now, you’ll know that I’m a sucker for habits and rituals, and talk and blog about their importance ALL THE TIME. So guess what? I’m bringing them back into 2021. This time, we’re going to be talking about building healthy habits as a basis of self-care (not the bubble bath and face mask kind, but actual care of yourself and your body). So get prepped! Because the next few weeks are going to be all about cleaning up your act and honing in on the importance of protein, fiber, and greens. In preparation for the weeks to come, I gave a pretty long and detailed presentation at this week’s Monday Zoom Call

regarding the importance of nutrition, supplementation, and cleansing. All of which can help lead to decreased inflammation in the body and a healthier life overall! If you don’t have an hour to listen and check out that video (I know that work-from-home has become normal during this past year!), here are my top three takeaways I believe were the most important of the hour: 1) You are What You Eat We often don’t like to think about this, but we live in an era of fast food and food manipulation. Companies adding who knows what to make things taste better, last longer, be cheaper. What we often don’t realize is that each step in the process of manipulation gets us further and further away from the full nutritional value of the foods we eat, and when we reach for what’s easy, we may lose those fundamental vitamins, minerals, and nutrients we need to keep our bodies happy and healthy. Need help with a lack of nutrients in your diet? Try adding doTERRA’s LLV kit into your daily routine to get the fundamental nutrients found in 12 servings of fruit and veggies. 2) Gut Health is Foundational Another effect of the food, lifestyle, and medical choices we make are their influence on the gut microbiome. Not only does your gut affect your overall immune health and weight, but it can even have an effect on your mental health! For overall gut help, try incorporating a probiotic such as doTERRA’s PB Assist+. 3) Supplementation Can Help! I know, I know, pills can be annoying to take. But the way I look at it is like this: if it’s helping keep me and my family happy and healthy (especially in the circumstances we face today), it’s worth it. Do your research and find what’s best for you and the goals you have for your health and well being. Want to learn more and start implementing healthy habits into your daily routine?
